The forint strengthened against the main currencies on Thursday morning compared to the previous evening’s quotation in international foreign exchange trade.
The euro fell to HUF 410.02 at seven o’clock on Thursday morning from HUF 410.16 at six o’clock on Wednesday evening. The dollar was 0.7 percent weaker, at 393.14 forints after 395.89 forints, and the Swiss franc was 0.4 percent weaker, at 418.14 forints after 419.71 forints. Compared to the beginning of the week, the forint is one percent weaker against the euro, one and a half percent weaker against the Swiss franc, but 0.1 percent stronger against the dollar.
