Hungary is committed to supporting the Eastern Partnership programme and Moldova’s European integration, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said after talks in Chișinău with his Moldovan counterpart, Aureliu Ciocoi. Szijjártó told a joint press conference that Hungarian experts would provide assistance to the Moldovan finance and agriculture ministries.
Szijjarto and Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister Sergiu Pușcuţa have signed a development cooperation agreement. Moldovan President Igor Dodon awarded Szijjártó Moldova’s Order of Honour.
