As part of the programme of activities for “Parma Italian Capital of Culture 2020-21”, EFSA is contributing to the revival of the city’s cultural life by resuming its collaboration with the summer outdoor D’Azeglio cinema.
EFSA aims to promote independent film productions from the European Union with a ‘European Nights’ festival, proposing titles that approach various social issues with wit and candour. The programme appeals to a wide audience and includes the screening of movies in their original language with Italian subtitles or dubbed, with two local premieres.
Scheduled films:
- 1 July, 26 August – La lutte des classes (France) – original with Italian subtitles
- 2 July, 27 August – Lassie (Germany) – dubbed in Italian
- 3 July, 28 August – La bonne épouse (France) – original with Italian subtitles
Entry fee is a symbolic €1 and Cinema d’Azeglio will donate part of the proceeds to the Caritas Diocesana di Parma charity.
Due to the current COVID-19 related restrictions, seats in the arena are limited to 90. The initiative is open to all citizens and booking is mandatory: send an SMS or WhatsApp message to Cinema D’Azeglio at +39 327 81 74 494.
