Innovation and Technology Minister László Palkovics visited market leaders of Germany’s health industry in Tuttlingen on Friday, his ministry told MTI in a statement.
The Hungarian minister and leaders of Karl Storz and B.Braun/Aesculap discussed a number of opportunities for cooperation, the statement said. Palkovics met Tuttlingen Mayor Michael Beck and Stefan Baer, the district’s administrator, to discuss issues around industrial zones, investment promotion, dealing with a shortage of skilled labour and removing red tape. The talks could facilitate closer cooperation between universities along the river Danube, with a conference in Budapest as the next step in the process, the statement said. As the closing event of his two-day visit to Baden-Württemberg, Palkovics held a lecture at an event organised by the economic chamber of Stuttgart.
