Hungary is temporarily moving its embassy from Kyiv to Lviv, in western Ukraine, in response to the deteriorating security situation in the Ukrainian capital, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said on Thursday.
Szijjártó told a meeting of Hungarian ambassadors that Hungary had recently evacuated the embassy’s employees, their families, along with three Austrians and a French national from Kyiv. The embassy staff will return to Kyiv as soon as it is safe to do so, he said.
