Fully 7,066 people crossed into Hungary directly from Ukraine on Thursday, while another 6,251 from Ukraine crossed from Romania, the national police headquarters (ORFK) said.
Budapest police received 34 refugees, 17 children among them, arriving by train, ORFK said on Friday.
