Fully 4,589 people crossed into Hungary directly from Ukraine on Thursday, while another 4,533 crossed from Romania, the National Police Headquarters (ORFK) said.
Police issued 30-day residency permits to 127 people, ORFK told MTI on Friday. Budapest received 68 people, 31 children among them, who travelled by train, ORFK said.
