Traditional Turkey Gastro and Sweets Festival has started today on Kossuth square, Debrecen.The gastro festival is three days long and it lasts until Sunday (6th of May). The official opening ceremony of the event takes place in front of the Great Reformed Church at 6:00 pm on Friday (4th of May) where László Papp, mayor of Debrecen, is giving a speech to the visitors and he opens the festival.
Apart from the gastro experience, visitors can enjoy various other programs such as concerts, games, displays, children programs, puppet theatre and a market of handmade products.
