A special Hungarian chocolate was chosen as the best bonbon of the world at an international championship of chocolates.The Hungarian Bonbonier Chocolate Manufacture won the main prize with their apple pie inspired caramel bonbon. In August, their salted caramel and peanut truffle was also awarded at the Great Taste Awards. In the past three years, they won a number of awards with their chocolates, bonbons and ice creams.
The award-winning bonbon is filled with caramel that is made with cinnamon apple.
The International Chocolate Awards is to support small companies and artisans who make fine chocolates and chocolatiers.
