Author Zsuzsa Vathy died on Saturday at the age of 76.Widow of Ervin Lázár died on the 7th of January.
Zsuzsa Vathy was born in Pápa in 1940 and she graduated at Türr István Secondary School in 1958. Her first short story was published in 1968, then she became editor at Kortárs and Képes 7 magazines. Since 1992 she has been working as a freelancer author.
Zsuzsa Vathy became really popular with her short novels written in the 1970s and 1980s and she even wrote a play about her marriage with one of the greatest Hungarian fabulists, Ervin Lázár in 2007.
