After the 13th of June, 2018, millions of passengers may be affected by the fact that Ryanair changes its check-in rules. When traveling by the Ireland-based airline, passengers, who did not book a specific seat, will have less time to check-in.According to the Guardian, instead of four days, you will only have two days to check-in if you want to travel by a Ryanair flight after the 13th of June. The British newspaper states that the main reason of the change is that Ryanair wants more people to pay for their previously booked seats.
Low-cost airline seats will cost about 1100 forints after the 13th of June at Ryanair, but it may even be five times more if someone wants extra seats. However, if you have the booked seats, check-in will be available 60 days prior to the flight.
In 2016, check-in was free of charge a week before the departure, then it was reduced for four days, and now you have only 48 hours.
