Longest Lunar Eclipse of the Century in July

This year, on the 31st of January, there was already a red and blue super hold, but the lunar eclipse, which comes next month, will be unique for decades – say the astronomers.On the 27th of July, we can experience the longest total lunar eclipse of the twenty-first century. The phenomenon – also known as blood moon due to its reddish color – can be seen for 1 hour and 43 minutes. Since the blood moon is preceded by a partial lunar eclipse, the whole procedure will last for almost four hours.

The phenomenon will be easier to capture by the people living on the eastern hemisphere of the Earth.

And what can we see on the 27h of July?

At 8:24 pm the partial lunar eclipse begins,
at 9:30 pm – the whole lunar eclipse begins,
at 10:22 pm – the greatest extent of the total lunar eclipse,
at 11:13 pm- the total lunar eclipse ends,
and at 00:19 am – the partial lunar eclipse ends.
