Six passengers were killed and about 50 others injured when a double-decker tour bus heading from Thailand’s Phanom Phrai district to capital city of Bangkok overturned in Khlong Luang district early Sunday, police said, Bangkok Post reported.
Passengers said the accident happened in the rain, after the bus driver braked suddenly to avoid hitting a vehicle in front of it, causing the bus to overturn.
The injured were rushed to hospitals in the area.
A man, four women, and a baby girl were killed in the accident.
Police were still looking for the bus driver, who might be among those admitted to hospitals, for questioning.
