Elon Musk, currently the richest man in the world, is staying in Romania for a few days to taste the magic of Halloween in the Törcsvár castle of Havasalföld Prince Vlad Țepeș, or Count Dracula, wrote Maszol.ro.
The billionaire is not the only one who came, many businessmen and Hollywood stars are also on the invite list. His first stop was in Brassópojána. The guests were welcomed with bread and plum schnapps at the local restaurant on Saturday evening. The CEO of Tesla revealed that he was also impressed by other things in Romania. Elon Musk wrote on Twitter Saturday night: “freshly baked bread and cookies are among the great joys of life.”
The event was held in the restaurant and in the yard with the press completely excluded, the journalists could only observe the events from the outside and rely on the stories of the locals. One of the witnesses said that part of the road leading to the restaurant was lit by torches on both sides, and the sound of drums and “mysterious noises” emanated from inside. The big party will take place in the “Dracula” castle in Törcsvár on Sunday evening.
Alexandru Prișcu, the director of the Törcsvár castle, did not reveal any details about the mysterious Halloween party on Sunday night. “The guest list belongs to the customer and will remain so. This would not be the first time that big names arrive at our events without our knowledge. But at the moment there is absolutely no official information.” – quoted Pro TV. According to press reports, some of Elon Musk’s guests arrived in Romania only on Sunday afternoon. The stars were accommodated in luxury villas near Brasov and were constantly transported to the Törcsvár castle amid strict security measures. Thousands of tourists came to the area on Sunday after the news of the visit, but neither they nor the press could see Musk.
According to Főtér.ro, the menu of the dinner will also be exclusive, as Musk has asked twelve of Romania’s best chefs to take care of catering for the guests. In addition, the Halloween party will also be part of the event, because it is called – if Transylvania – Dracula’s Experience, and a director has been asked to organize it.
