The Wizz Air plane made several rounds over the city. However, the fog did not lift, so the plane landed in Budapest instead of Debrecen.

Thick fog descended on Debrecen on Saturday night, which made not only road traffic difficult, but also air traffic. It turned out that due to the foggy weather,

a flight from London had to be diverted from Debrecen airport to Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport.

According to information from the Flightradar24 portal, Wizz Air flight W92702 from London took off from Luton airport as planned, then began its descent as it approached the city of Debrecen, but did not attempt to land.

According to the flight data, the plane made several rounds over Debrecen, but since the weather conditions did not improve, they decided to divert, and the plane landed at the Budapest airport not long after.
