The popular journalist and presenter, Anikó Návai, was 76 years old. Blikk magazine was informed first of her death.
Anikó Návai was born in Szeged, graduated from Eötvös Loránd University in 1973, and then became an employee of Magyar Rádió. In 1981, she moved to the United States with her husband, György Skorka. Most of the people here knew her from the fact that for 23 years she was the only Hungarian member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which awards the Golden Globe awards.
TV viewers could also meet Anikó Návai in the Hungarian Television’s “Love from Hollywood” TV-programme. She interviewed many famous stars. Her work was not without scandals, a lawsuit was also started against her.
