Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd have opened a new production and research
plant with the creation of 60 new jobs.
The company is the world s leading producer of generic products and as a such giant plays an important role operating manufacturing and the development of its research facilities.
This year the High Containment plant will produce 1.3 billion tablets and next year they will reach the 2 billion pieces a year capacity.
The pills contain a strong substance so the containment is very important for the environmentand the health of the workers too.
The value of the investment is 3 billion forints of which 460 million forints came from EU and governmental funds. Currently a total of 49 people are working inside the plant and this number will reach 55-60.
The company will sell the pills in the european and canadian markets.
