The Municipality of Debrecen will apply for EU money to design and build 10 small solar power plants. Preliminary surveys show that constructing such plants should be used inside buildings with less than 50kwh annual electricity consumption.
Envisaged that Szazszorszep, Hetszinvirag and kindergartens in Gorgei, Lehel, Kozep, Sipos, Tancsics and Kuruc streets together with Lilla Square Primary School and Rakovszky Daniel Primary Schools can get solar panels.
Producing the 100% of electricity what these institutions using a year the costs can be reduced and within 7 years the cost of the power plant can be cleared.
The estimated cost of the project is around 192 million HUF of which the city pays 77 million Huf.
