The TEVA pharmaceutical Ltd has opened its
newest packaging unit on 13th of July 2010. The cost of the project reached 20 billion HUF with a 2 billion HUF governmental support.
Tibor Navracsics deputy prime minister stated that TEVA is a good and important partner of the Hungarian government. They invest their gains partly in Hungary.
Lajos Kosa, mayor of Debrecen said that the company plays a key role as a high-value-added industry in the local economy.
