Eternal forms is the title of Kolcsey Center`s new exhibition which got open on 25th of August. Alvar Aalto (1898-1976) is on of the most respected master of modern architecture.
His houses are environment friendly, harmonious, functional and light setting up a clear foundation and won international reputation to Finnish architecture.
The Rihikite house, Villa Mairea, Mauritsalo house and Maison Louis Carre show pieces of his works, human-scale characteristics and close relationship to nature.
Finnagora, the Alvar Aalto Museum, Fonix rendezvenyszervezo Ltd., Hajdu-Bihar County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, cities of Jyvaskila and Debrecen co-organized the exhibition.
The exhibition is available weekdays 10am-7pm till September 26 in Arpad Benyi Hall of Kolcsey Center.
