On August 31 is the deadline of connecting to the new sewerage system in Debrecen.
The EU-funded ISPA programme sewer-expansion works have been completed in February. The municipality of Debrecen has informed the local citizens that from 1 March 8120 properties/buildings have the possibility to connect to the more advanced network.
Accession period expires on Tuesday. Subsequently those who had not signedtheir properties into the new sewer system, will have to pay a higher price for the service, because they will notreceive the municipal fee reduction.
The Water Utilities Association`s, Kossuth Street office is responsible for the connection issues. After it theowner should visit the customer service of the Debrecen Waterworks Co. in Hatvan street to sign the new contract.
