The European Union provide funds to develop the services of the Hungarian Army`s 5th Istvan Bocskai Rifle Brigade`s library
and educational center in Debrecen.
The main program is intended to create better conditions for distance and online learning. Brigadier General Gabor Borondi announced the news.
The institution hopes that the 55 million Huf investment can increase
the number of readers and will met by the rising demand of professional
and non-professional infocommunication needs.
The institution cooperates with the local authority and run defense
courses in 28 primary schools. Every week 400 students can learn about soldier`s life inside military barracks.
Gabor Berkecz teacher of the Gabor Denes Electronics and Technical Secondary School said, that in their school 9-11 grade students can study military skills and even can graduate from it.
Leaders of the brigade hope that after graduation many of them will chose the military profession.
