The Debrecen Police initiated proceeding against an unknown perpetrator who stole a wallet with 30000Huf cash and three
credit cards inside.
The theft happened between 11:45 and 13:45 on September 17, 2010 in 3-6 Hatvan street, Debrecen.
The victim parked her car near Hotel Aranybika and used the ATM nearby and forgot to close her bag properly. She later realized that her purse was missing. Later that day the perpetrator tried to withdraw money using one of the cards in OTP Bank, on Hatvan street, but he failed because the victim canceled her cards immediately after they went missing. She received an sms message from the bank that somebody tried to use the bank card.
The camera of the ATM took a picture of the perpetrator. He is 50-55 years old with a medium lenght dark colour unkept hair, unshaven face and he was wearing glasses.
