Yosef Yarden, Israeli cancer researcher was awarded the international prize of Univerity of Debrecen Medical and Health Science Center this year.
The professor got the Debrecen Prize for Molecular Medicine on Friday, 10th of December. Yosef Yarden studies primarily developmental factors. He researches what role these factors have in development of cancer cells.
The prize that was established in 2003 can be awarded a scientist, the work of whom shows singificant development in molecular medicine. The prize means 10.000 euros also.
The professors at DEOEC decide who wins the prize with secret ballot.
