Teahouse and lapidarium opens at Yellow Church

According to plans, the lapidarium, the teahouse and the prayer room of the recently opened Romkert and Emlékkert will be available from the end of January in the glass pavilion built at the Northern side of the Yellow Church.

Exhibitions will be organized in the teahouse. In the 10 m2 prayer room that opens off the teahouse, one piece of Bishop Peter Meliusz Juhasz’s gravestone and a copy of the first Hungarian protestant Bible will be exhibited.
Built in one airspace with the teahouse, the lapidarium will be home to medieval stone remains. Among other things, one piece of the András Church which used to stand in the place of the Yellow Church before will be displayed. Interested ones will also be able to see a scale model of the latter building.
