A new local consumer financial aid office was opened in Debrecen.
From 1 April new consumer financial advisory offices are available in eight large Hungarian cities: Debrecen, Eger, Győr, Kaposvár, Kecskemét, Szeged, Székesfehérvár and Zalaegerszeg. “Through the new consumer protection agencies the financial consumer protection system becomes a nationwide network” – said Károly Szász, chairman of the Financial Supervisory Authority. In these offices lawyers and economist professionals will be able to answer questions about finances and show people the fastest and most effective way to settle their financial disputes.
