The University of Debrecen and its Finnish partner institution agreed about starting a Finnish-Hungarian master training.
“The agreement which is made for a period of 4 years enables students participating in the enterprise development master training of the Faculty of Applied Economics and Rural Development in the Center for Agricultural and Applied Economic Sciences to continue their studies in Finland while those in the master training for Business Administration at JAMK University of Applied Sciences have the possibility to study here in Debrecen. “ – said Rector István Fábián prior to signing the agreement.
From the next term on, 20-20 students can take part in the program. The participants are required to start the master training and to have knowledge of the English language sufficient for participating in the foreign language courses. The students don’t have to pay any education fee in the partner institutions.
There are different ways of pursuing the studies: personally, as an exchange student or by means of the internet (Skype, e-mailing, video conference). Moreover, the Erasmus Program enables teachers to travel to the partner city to teach at intensive courses. The theses will be graded by the homeland institutions and then in case they have fulfilled all the requirements, the graduates can take their Finnish-Hungarian diplomas.
