The copy of Shroud of Turin was presented yesterday in Debrecen.
Yesterday, a certified copy of the Shroud of Turin was presented in St. Ann’s Cathedral, in Debrecen. During the mass that started at 6 pm, Bishop Nándor Bosák blessed the shroud then Professor Gyula Pályi from the University of Modena gave a talk. The Shroud of Turin is the most controversial relic of the Roman Catholic Church. Tradition holds that Jesus’ body image is outlined on the 4-metre long shroud. The original one is kept in St. John the Baptist Cathedral, Turin, Italy.
