Having joined a European Union initiative called “Viva Europe”, Debrecen will be home to an unusual event.
On Pentecost Monday, Puccini’s opera, Tosca conducted by the world-famous Zubin Mehta by will be broadcasted from Valencia to numerous towns in Europe at the same time. Interested ones can see the opera broadcast free of charge at Baltazár Dezső Square on 13 June.
