For the first time in Hungary, city energetics engineer training will begin.
The University of Debrecen is the first one in Hungary to start city energetics engineer training. It will start in September and will be adapted to the new building energetics requirements set up by the European Union in 2010. From the end of this decade, buildings with “near zero” energy demand will be a requirement at government and municipal constructions. For this reason, the demand for professionals in building energetics will increase in the future. From the 2011/2012 academic year, students of the Faculty of Engineering will be able to acquire the professional knowledge that will be tailored to the new demands.
