Free, secure bike storage has been built in the parking lot of the shopping center in Péterfia Street.
The joint initiative of the recently opened bicycle shop and the shopping center in the Péterfia Street building promotes cycling in the city. They built a safe, 50-place bike storage that cyclist arriving to the city center can use for free. The storage, that is the first of its kind in Debrecen and, perhaps, in Hungary, too, has been available since this Tuesday. The initiative encourages the residents to cycle instead of traveling by bus or car thereby protecting their health and improving the air quality in Debrecen.
