The number of the companies that have been founded during one year of the Orbán government is double that of those that have been cancelled.
Around 26 thousand companies have been cancelled and 45 thousand founded in one year. So now, 585285 businesses are recorded in the official statistics. These numbers indicate that in the unstable economic environment the number of collapsing companies is quite high but it’s also remarkable that many people try to thrive by means of a new business. In Debrecen, 4.4 % of the enterprises (585) were deleted and 1081 new businesses were founded last year. After Budapest, Debrecen records the most enterprises (13.414).
