Remembrance of the sculptor

On the anniversary of his death, a commemoration ceremony was held in Ferenc Medgyessy’s memorial house.

Historian of arts Éva Fodor evocated the life of the famous sculptor. We knew that Debrecen was a determining place for Ferenc Medgyessy: he spent his student years here and their friendship with the famous novelist Zsigmond Móricz also began here.
The apropos of the commemoration was that Medgyessy died on 20 July 1958 (in Budapest).
