The renowned representatives of the Hungarian wine-growing regions are going to present themselves for the 12th time at the Wine Festival held between 4-7 August.
On the first weekend of August, 30 wineries from 10 regions are going to bring their delicious vintage to the Great Plain. Visitors to the festival will have the opportunity to taste fruit wines and different types of “pálinka”, too.
Besides promoting Hungarian wine, the organizers also aim to acquaint interested ones with the values of the traditional Hungarian cuisine so the products of local and national cheese-makers will be important features of the festival this year as well.
There will be a “slambuc”-cooking competition, too. Besides the wine, excellent musicians will contribute to the good atmosphere. The event is free for everyone. A bicycle storage will also be available (100 HUF for 1 hour or less, 300 HUF over 1 hour).
