At the weekend (13 and 14 August) Debrecen is performing killing of mosquitos by a plane. Attention! The chemical is dangerous for bees!
All the area of Debrecen (as much as 5000 hectares) is getting the chemicals against mosquitos from a plane. If the weather is not proper for the action, it will be taken on 15 August. Its budget is 8.5 million forints. The applied chemical is Aqua K-Othrine which is dangerous for bees, so the local government is calling the attention of beekeepers to ensure the safety of their bees.
