The new Zöld Hullám Park (“Green Wave Park”) in the Kassai Campus was inaugurated on Monday.
The area of the park is 14,000 sqm. There are designed resting places, tables, a fountain and an oper-air stage. The tables are equipped with socket to make laptop usage more comfortable. In the future, the university is planning create an outdoor wireless network to the park with the help of some tender subsidies.
The park cost about 70 million HUF, that was mainly paid by university students: it was financed from the fees of re-taken exams, fees of certain procedures, etc.
