This year, Debrecen and Eger are going to co-host a traditional culinary and cultural festival which begins on Friday and is to be held on the main square of Debrecen.
All kinds of mouthwatering Hungarian delicacies will be served during the festival that is going to take place from Friday to Sunday. The hungry visitors can choose from 12 different goose dishes and 4 kinds of dessert. There will be plenty of excellent wines as more than 70 kinds of wine from 6 wineries will be offered to interested ones for tasting. Different bands are going to entertain the visitors; among others, the deputy major of Eger and his band is going to play. Debrecen’s deputy mayor Zoltán Pajna said he believed that both Eger and Debrecen would only benefit from the co-operation.
