There is still blood shortage in our region. The Regional Blood Center organizes blood-giving campaigns throughout the county to ensure the sufficient stocks.
About 30-40 blood donors donate a day in the Blood Centre in Bem Square, but the optimal number would be 50-60.
Normally, there is a decrease in blood-giving during summer, which is followed by a compensation in Autumn. This is what they miss this year – after the shortage, the boom has not come.
