After 21 years of service Major Imre Frankó took his farewell from the 39. Battalion of the 5. Bocskai István Infantry Brigade. His superiors sent him for a foreign mission.
Major Frankó joined the brigade in 1990 and, sacrificing a lot of time and energy for his work, he was moving forward on the status ladder continuously. In the last 2 decades, he has been awarded countless prizes and honors and participated in various missions on several occasions. In the next 3 and a half years, he is going to serve as the commander of the Hungarian-Italian-Slovenian Multinational Battalion in Udine, Italy.
