József Hapák photographer, honorary citizen of Debrecen died on 14 January, 2012 at the age of 67.He used traditional cameras with which he photographed the world around us. He captured the characteristic buildings and the art treasures of the Reformed Church or those of Debrecen many times and in many ways. Numerous catalogues and photo albums preserve his individual, unique perception. He was one of the most prestigious building and art photographers on the national level, too. In 2005, he was awarded the title of “Honorary Citizen of Debrecen”.
