This winter has taken 3 victims so far. They were all 70-80 year old people.
Three people have frozen to death since October – two of them in Debrecen, the third in Mikepércs (a small village 8 km south from Debrecen).
Until the middle of January, about 70 people have frozen to death all over the country, most of them were homeless people.
According to the estimations of the Social Forum, the number of those who had been found alive but died in the hospital can be 50-70.
