The modernization that lasted for a year cost 440 million forints and it brought the art values of the Reformed Church and modern technology together.The main building of the Reformed College in Debrecen has renewed. By the end of 2010, the roof of the main building had leaked and many books kept in the library got wet so the renovation became urgent. Bishop Gusztáv Bölcskei said he hoped that the whole building could be renovated which would cost additional 3 billion forints. Botond Szabó G. director of the library called it very important that “the visitors of the building should have a good time while meeting with the culture.” They expect that the number of visitor will grow from 20 thousand to 50 thousand in the next few years.
