The city hosted the fencing finals for the second time.
The event took place in the Békéssy Béla Vívócentrum (Békéssy Béla Fencing Center) in Faraktár Street. This was the second time that Debrecen organized this sport event. Fencing is one of the most successful sport is Hungary; the Hungarian fencers achieve outstanding results worldwide. Lots of talents competed at the national tournament last weekend, including Kata Mihály and Zsolt Serra.
