British Ambassador Jonathan Knott not only handed over medals in the European Swimming Championship, but we can also foresee new possibilities in business sphere between the two countries.Jonathan Knott was present in the Championship on 23 May from 4.30 pm. to6.30 pm., and handed over medals for the winners of freestyle. His visit was also prestigious, as London is organizing the summer Olympic Games between 27 July and 12 August, just like the Paralympics between 29 August and 9 September. London is the first city to organize the Games for the third time.
The Ambassador also met entrepreneurs from Debrecen. On the meeting they discussed the possible business future of the countries, among others about the London – Debrecen flight from summer. Another topics of the negotiations were the possibilities of further cooperation of British and Hungarian firms and enterprises.
Apart from tourism, they can expect cooperation also in education and innovation. More English firms are operating in Hungary, employing about 40.000 people. They have confirmed further appointments, conferences, so that Hungarian and English firms could get more and more precise information about cooperation facilities.
