Today is the International Day of Life. On this occassion, there was a Roman Catholic mass in Szent László Church and the Alpha Association held a ”life-supporting” pilgrimage in the afternoon.The route of pilgrimage lead from Bem Square to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology where the oranizers of the pilgrimage read out their declaration asking not to perform abortions in the Clinics and Kenézy Hospital at least on three das of the year. These days are 25 March (Day of the Unborn Child), 1 June (International Day of Life) and 28 December (Holy Innocents’ Day).
Like Péter Szeverényi (obstetrician and gynecologist) said, they have joined this initiative which is supported by 38 hospitals in Hungary.
