The Debrecen Court of Appeal sentenced the man who robbed cooperative banks in a settlement in Hajdú-Bihar County to 10 years in prison. The man was armed with knifes and a gas pistol.
The second instance tribunal lowered the sentence of the first instance court by 4 years and debarred Róbert Burzi from doing any public business for 10 years. In 2010, the defendant robbed a cooperative bank in a settlement in Hajdú-Bihar County. He was wearing a ski mask and, threatening them with a key, he forced the employees to hand him over the contents of the cashier.He took 5.2 million forints with him at that time. Then, in April 2011, he robbed another cooperative bank in the same setllement. He used a gas pistol this time and captured 322.000 forints. After the robberies, he went to his family to another settlement where he was soon caught by the police.
