Between 9 am. and 3 pm. on 14 June, complex checks were carried out on highway M3 with the cooperation of several authorities, including Czech, Slovak and Romanian controllers.
NAV associates detected violation of rules concerning excise duty in 9 cases and started proceedings against a truck driver for ignoring regulations on driving and rest time and for having a forged transport permit. The finance officers used ray scanners when examining the trucks. They withheld a vehicle in one case because the driver owed money to the tax authority.
