The University of Debrecen finished a two-year programme that was designed to promote the results of scientific research carried out at the university.
During the 160 million forint project, they have set up a unified database that covers and provides easy access to the overall activities of the institution. “Within the framework of the project, 85% of which was financed by the EU, conferences have been organized, learning materials have been digitalized and a new portal has been launched to make the knowledge base of the university available.” – Vice Rector István Gaál stressed at the press conference held before the project closing event on 19 June. He also pointed out that they regard high school students as the most important target audience and that the programme had been designed to attract them to the science-majors.
