The Belarusian helicopter is a ministry vehicle that has been rented out for the Hungarian shooting of Die Hard 5.
An MI-26 helicopter with a Belarusian insignia landed on Airport Debrecen on Thursday. The giant vehicle of the Belarusian Ministry of Emergency Situations came to the country because later it is going to take part in the filming of John Moore’s upcoming movie Good Day to Die Hard starring Bruce Willis. Following the customs control and refueling, the helicopter continued its way to the airport at Budaörs. The huge vehicle is 33.8 centimeters long, 8.2 meters high with a 32-meter rotor diameter and it’s capable of transporting 20 tons of goods.
