The heart, the brain, the blood and the interactions of these was the main topic of the medical conference held for the first time at the University of Debrecen last Friday.
The conference was attended by Hungarian and foreign experts alike. The Debrecen University Symposium is expected to increase the scientific reputation of both the university and the city of Debrecen and is intended to be held year by year on different topics, as an internationally recognized event. The speakers pointed out that in Hungary, the leading cause of death and disability is the various vascular diseases and that appropriate treatment is possible only by the close cooperation of internists, cardiologists, neurologists and experts at blood clotting who have a complex approach. About 150 participants attended the conference.
